In one of the worst seasons in Louisville basketball history, John O’Rourke led his team to just one singular win.

O’Rourke had been placed into the head coaching role after a disappointing 3-8 season under Jimmie Powers. The hope for the Cardinals’ was an improvement in their overall record, certainly not a train crash of a season.

The abysmal year would be O’Rourke’s sole season with the Cardinals before Fred Enke replaced him.

With a 7.1 percent winning record, O’Rourke is truly one of the worst Lousiville head coaches in program history.
