Former Cardinal Dennis Evans Transfers to GCU

Dennis Evans was Kenny Payne's singular top 25 recruit in his time at Louisville, and he will be transferring to Grand Canyon University after previously thought that he would never play basketball again.
Evans came in to Louisville as a 7-foot 1-inch tall center with a ton of potential, even if he was extremely raw offensively and defensively. After playing 7 games averaging 1.6 points, 0.9 rebounds, and shooting 62.5% from the floor overall, news came out that he was no longer cleared to "medically not able to play basketball."

It will be difficult to tell if Evans will be able to succeed at GCU, but he basketball talent and potential is there without a doubt. It will be interesting to see if Evans will have a good career at GCU, but only time will tell in his case. Evans also follows
