Pat Kelsey has garnered another recruit for Louisville's roster next season, and likely got their point guard for next season in Chucky Hepburn. Hepburn was a three year starter at Wisconsin before entering the transfer portal and committing to Louisville yesterday.
Hepburn was an elite facilitator in his last year at Wisconsin and will be a huge part facilitating the offense throughout the season. Hepburn averaged 9.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists while shooting 42.9% from the floor overall and 32.2% from the perimeter last season. Hepburn also did this while being the head point guard for Wisconsin only averaging 1.2 turnovers per game.
Pat Kelsey is starting to put a squad together for next season, and will likely have his team rounded out within the next few weeks. Louisville could possibly flirt with being a decent team in the ACC next season, and if Kelsey adds more high quality players like Hepburn they could surprise a lot of people next season.
