Donovan Mitchell has been the star for the Cleveland Cavaliers since he arrived there, and after dropping 50-points in game six against the Orlando Magic, he just proved how valuable he really is.

Mitchell dropped 50 points last night against the Magic but even that could not stop the Magic from winning the game outright 102-96. Mitchell's performance is only 2nd in Cavalier history behind LeBron James. I would say that is pretty great company that Mitchell is standing next to.

Mitchell dropped 32 points through the first 3 quarters, but he really started playing on a different level in the 4th quarter, as he dropped 18 points in just 12 minutes. If Mitchell had any help in the final quarter against the Magic the Cavaliers would have won the game, but Mitchell and the Cavs will have another chance to end the series against the Magic this Sunday at 1:00PM.

There was no doubt that Mitchell did everything he could to will Cleveland to victory:

Mitchell ended the game scoring all 18 points for Cleveland in the 4th quarter, and he did everything he could to will his team to a victory no matter what he had to do, in classic Donovan Mitchell fashion.

Mitchell finished the game shooting 22 of 36 on field goals, 3 of 9 from three point range, while adding 3 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1 block to his final box score.
