Louisville Alumni Donovan Mitchell Has Big Night

The Cleveland Cavaliers took on the Detroit Pistons tonight and Donovan Mitchell played flawlessly as he lead his team to a 128-121 victory.
Donovan Mitchell scored 45 points in the game for one of his more prolific performances this season with the Cavaliers. Mitchell also hit 6 of 8 threes in the game, to go along with hitting 14 of 25 field goals in the game. Mitchell also had 8 asists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block to finish out his stat sheet. Most importantly he led his team to the win where he held off the Pistons to defend the Land in Cleveland.
Mitchell hit some key shots late in the game, and scored nearly a 1/3 of all his points in the 4th quarter. Mitchell continues to play out of his mind going in February, and shows people all across the NBA what it means to be a former Louisville Cardinal.
