Donovan Mitchell has been making Louisville basketball proud as of late, as he has been playing out of this world and his Cleveland Cavaliers have also been on fire lately.
The Cavaliers have won 20 of their past 25 games and are in sole 2nd place in the eastern conference. Michell has been the leader in their winning streak and has not only been scoring at will, but assisting, rebounding, and playing good defense as well.
Mitchell is averaging 28 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 steals a game, while shooting 47.2% from the floor overall, and 37.1% from the three point line.
The Cavaliers have been playing great basketball as of late and that is likely due to Mitchell's superior play. He is around the same numbers he had during last season, but the difference is that Mitchell was struggling in the first 30 games this year, and since the new year he has been playing phenomenal.
If Mitchell can continue his stellar play then he will surely surpass his numbers from last season, and will be looking to get much more success in the postseason than he had last season with the Cavaliers.
