The Louisville basketball program has a big season coming up. They are trying to prove that they can turn around their program quickly. Winning 12 games in just two seasons is not what this program is about and new coach Pat Kelsey knows that. He is going to hit the recruiting trail.

The quickest way to turn around the Cardinals is to get great recruits into the program. A couple of recruits have Louisville on their final school list. According to a prominent recruiting analyst, the Cardinals have an excellent chance to land both highly-coveted prospects.

According to Joe Tipton of On3, he thinks that the Cardinals have a great chance to land both Tre Singleton and Kaden Magwood. Singleton is a three-star prospect from Jeffersonville, Indiana and Magwood is a four-star combo guard from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Magwood is the higher-rated recruit of these two. He would fit the Cardinals really well with the skills that he has. He can shoot it well from outside, which is something the Cardinals need. He can also pass the ball well and has some pretty good handles too.

Singleton has the ideal size to be a combo-type of player as well. He's 6'8 and 215 pounds and moves well for his size. He can play the small or power forward spots. Singleton also has time to increase his recruiting ranking. He is a little more of a developmental project, but he'd be worth investing time in.

Louisville needs to make sure they can grab these two guys. A couple of five-star recruits are interested in the Cardinals too. The combination of the coaching and NIL collectives needs to be in sync to land the best possible combination of recruits.
