Louisville Basketball Releases Senior Day Participants, Including JJ Traynor

Louisville will host Boston College this Saturday in their final home and regular season game of the 2023-24 season, and 3 players will be taking part in the senior day event.

Zan Payne, Aiden McCool, and JJ Traynor will all take part in the senior ceremony on Saturday, ahead of the home matchup against Boston College. JJ Traynor will be a senior but because of his season ending injury earlier this season he technically has another year of basketball to play if he wants to use it.

Traynor has not discussed at all whether or not he will use that extra year of eligibility, and that may depend on if he wants to play for a new coaching staff or not. He may take the year to transfer to a different school if he does not want to play for a likely new incoming coaching staff.

Louisville will tip off against Boston College at 5:30 on Saturday, and the senior ceremony will take place right before tip off.
