The Louisville Cardinals have been ridden with injury issues all season and more bad news fell upon the Cards today as guard Hercy Miller has been listed as "out for the season"

Miller had been dealing with an ongoing hip issue in the past few weeks, and after being out for a couple of games the University put out the statement above. Miller was one of the 9 scholarship players still available for Kenny Payne's team, and now Louisville is down to just 2 true scholarship guards left, and 8 players left on scholarship overall.

Miller is headed back to his home in California after some medical consultation, and will undergo a surgery for his hip, which will in turn keep him out for the rest of the season.

Miller is the 4th player on Louisville's roster to be listed as "out for the rest of season". Miller follows the likes of Dennis Evans, Koron Davis, and JJ Traynor in being out for the whole season.

Louisville cannot seem to find much luck when it comes to injuries this season, as they are now down to 8 scholarship players for the rest of the 2024 season.
