The Louisville basketball program has a lot to do. After a disastrous last two seasons, the Cardinals are trying to get this program back on track. It won't be easy considering they have a brand-new roster. That roster has a lot of work to do in order to get back to being a top program.

A tough schedule doesn't help Louisville. Other than playing a tough ACC schedule, they are in a premier tournament as well. They will be playing in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas this season. We now know who the Cardinals will play in the first round of that tournament.

Louisville will take on the Indiana Hoosiers in the first round of the game. The Hoosiers are going to be a solid team this year. They will take on the winner of a matchup between West Virginia and Gonzaga the following day. Those are not easy matchups.

The Battle 4 Atlantis will be a great test for this Louisville basketball team. The Cardinals are going to be facing some really solid teams in this tournament. It will show us how close they are to being a good program again depending on how they play against these teams.

Louisville is probably either the worst or the second-worst team in this tournament. Historically, that wouldn't be true. But with how things have gone in each of the last two seasons, it's hard to deny that. The good news is that this is early in the season.
