Jeff Brohm has landed his 6th recruit for the 2025 football class, as 3-star tight end Grant Houser has committed to the Louisville Cardinals.

Houser is a 6-foot 5-inch, 230-pound tight end out of Wapakoneta Ohio, and while he may not be a very high recruit in the 2025 class, his intangibles show his potential to become a solid player in Brohm's offense.

Houser is a 3-star prospect that ranks as the 66th tight end, 64th best player out of Ohio, and the 1,218th best player in the class of 2025 according to 247sports. Houser also had offers from Air Force, Army, Connecticut, and various other smaller schools, and it isn't a surprise that he chose Louisville over the rest of them.

Houser could be a vertical threat in Brohm's offense based on his highlights from his junior high school season, but based on his size and mobility he should have no problem being a good pass blocker as well. Houser likely won't see the field too much in his freshman season, but that also all depends on what Louisville's tight end room will look like come the 2025 season.

Houser is the 6th player to join the class of 2025, while also being the 2nd player from Ohio in the class as well. Brohm has been reinstating the pipeline from Ohio much more than previous coach Scott Satterfield was in the past, which is a good thing since a certain team down the road loves to recruit from Ohio.

Houser joins the class of 2025 along with QB Mason Mims, WR Jordan Allen, OL Jake Cook, OT Grady Anthony, and DL Dillon Smith.
