Louisville football coach Jeff Brohm has been getting recruiting back to their local roots, as Louisville ha been the first to officially offer 2026 Male high school running back Chayce Burton according to Jody Demling of Cardinal Authority

Reportedly Burton got a scholarship offer on monday from Louisville when he was visiting with running backs coach Chris Barclay.

Louisville has become much more involved in recruiting when it comes to local recruits since Brohm has become the head coach. Louisville currently has two Male high school alumnis on roster with Selah Brown and Izayuh Cummings. Cummings transferred back to Louisville this past offseason, after playing his previous seasons for Kentucky.

Bringing in local recruits has alway been apart of Louisville football, and it will likely become the norm as long as Jeff Brohm is the head coach.
