Louisville football vs. Austin Peay announcers for season opener

The Louisville football team is ready to start its season on Saturday afternoon. They will take the Austin Peay Governors. It's a game that the Cardinals shouldn't have too much trouble with to start the year. They are actually the perfect opponent to start the season against.

Louisville is hoping to get back to the ACC Championship this season. In order to do that, they ahve to be firing on all cylinders once they start playing teams in the conference. Getting the offense figured out in this first game would go a lont way to helping them do that.

This first Louisville Cardinals game is on ACC Network at noon. It's not the most glamorous TV slot that they could have, but at least it's viewable for most Cardinals fans. So how are going to be the announcers for this first game of Jeff Brohm's second season leading the Cardinals?

On ACC Network, it will be Jorge Sedano doing play-by-play along with Orlando Franklin as the analyst. Morgan Uber will be the sideline reporter. It's actually strange to see Sedano doing some college football play-by-play work since he's mostly an NBA guy.

In fact, the only time I remember seeing Sedano doing any sort of announcing work is when he's the sideline doing NBA games. I'm interested to hear how he does with college football games. Franklin was a former tackle at Miami and will be doing ACC games for his second season.

It's a new announcing team for me that I haven't heard before. I'm excited to see how they are able to do for this Louisville game. There's a shot that the Cardinals have more than one game on the ACC Network this season, so we might hear this crew again.
