The Louisville football team is riding high after a 62-0 blowout victory over Austin Peay last weekend. It was the perfect start to the season for the Cardinals as they showed that the offense is a force to be reckoned with despite having to replace so many starters from last year.

Louisville is hoping for a similar offensive output this week against Jacksonville State. The Jaguars are a slight step up in competition. At least they are in the FBS as opposed to Austin Peay being in the FCS. It still shouldn't matter for this Louisville Cardinals team.

This isn't a game that Louisville has circled on their calendar as one that could be a problem. They are far more talented than Jacksonville State on both sides of the ball. They should be able to run the ball almost at will against them too. This could be another offensive explosion.

According to DraftKings, the Cardinals are 29-point favorites over the Jaguars. The over/under sits at 56.5 in this game, mainly because of what Louisville did last week against the Governors. The oddsmakers clearly think this is going to be another blowout for the Cardinals.

Personally, I think along the same lines. Louisville's defense isn't going to struggle to stop the Jaguars' offense and I don't think Rich Rodriguez's team can stop the Cardinals' offense. I fully expect another blowout, although it won't be quite as big as it was last week.

Give me the Cardinals 45-6. I don't think the over hits, but I do think the Cardinals cover fairly easily. It's another home game with pristine weather, so they should be able to win it with ease. The Cardinals should be ready to head into a bye week 2-0 on the year.
