Jeff Brohm continues to bring in more defensive depth for Louisville's 2024 football roster, as he brings in a linebacker from Cal in transfer Myles Jernigan.

Jernigan comes in as a 6-foot three, 235 pound outside linebacker, which will provide depth at the outside linebacker position or may even possibly start with the departure of Tyler Baron earlier this week.

Jernigan has been a huge part of Cal's defensive line the past 2 seasons, when the previous 3 years before he was having a hard time finding play on the field. Jernigan has started 5 games for Cal and appeared in all 12 games for Cal in the past 12 games. Last season he had 20 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles.

Jernigan should provide some much needed depth on the defensive end and linebacker position for Louisville in 2024.
