Louisville and Jeff Brohm landed another commitment for the weekend, as Florida Gators cornerback is headed to play football for the Cardinals in 2024.

As of right now Kimber has not visited the UofL campus, but a verbal commitment is as good as any during the transfer season.

Kimber was the 71st-ranked prospect in the 2020 recruiting class and committed to Georgia. He transferred out of Georgia after a season and has since spent his time with the Florida Gators. In his time with the Gators, he has had some injury issues but had a very successful 2023 season with the Gators.

Kimber started 11 games for Florida in 2023 and played in every game this season. At the end of the season, Kimber ended up with 23 total tackles, 18 solo tackles, 5 pass breakups, and a fumble recovery. With the five pass breakups being the most on the team.

Kimber will be a nice addition to the Louisville secondary in 2024, and if he can stay healthy he could be a great player for the Cardinals in 2024.
