Louisville Lands OL Transfer Monroe Mills From Texas Tech
By Caleb Hall
Jeff Brohm continues to be on a roll, as he snags his 15th commitment from the transfer portal.
Monroe Mills committed to the Louisville Cardinals yesterday in what was another transfer to come from Texas Tech. The first was QB transfer Tyler Shough just a few weeks ago. Mills is an offensive lineman who started all 12 games this season for the Red Raiders and is a big get for the Louisville offense in 2024.
Mills started out at Oklahoma State but has spent the last two seasons with Texas Tech, where he started 22 games in two years for them. Mills started 10 games at right tackle in 2022 but then switched to left tackle and started all 12 games for the Red Raiders in 2023.
Mills will still have 2 years of eligibility left to play and committed to Louisville over schools like South Carolina, Virginia Tech, and TCU. He also comes in at 6'6 and 315 pounds, adding another tall six-footer to this already powerful offensive line in 2024.
