Louisville Sets Press Conference to Announce Pat Kelsey as New Head Basketball Coach

Since firing Kenny Payne 2 weeks ago the Louisville basketball head coaching search has been a roller coaster ride. From Scott Drew, to Richard Pitino, to Dusty May, it has been an interesting 2 weeks to say the least. However, Louisville has seemingly found their guy in Charleston coach Pat Kelsey.

Louisville announced that there would be a board meeting at 3:00 PM tomorrow, followed by a press conference at the practice facility. Which likely means that Kelsey will be announced as the Louisville head coach tomorrow.

Many fans have their qualms about Kelsey, but he should win over the majority of fans with the press conference tomorrow, and with Kelsey's electric and energetic personality it shouldn't be difficult.

The new era of Louisville basketball will begin soon, and the turning of the page from Kenny Payne is almost complete.
