Former Louisville Cardinal Danilo Jovanovich has finally found a home, as he committed to Milwaukee basketball earlier today in a twitter post:
Jovanovich was a transfer from Miami when he came to play for Kenny Payne's year 2, and no offense to Jovanovich but he should not have got meaningful minutes on a Louisville basketball roster. Jovanovich was on scholarship for Payne, and averaging 1.2 points, 1.2 rebounds, and shooting 36% from three was just not going to cut it for Pat Kelsey.
I'm glad Jovanovich was able to find a home at Milwaukee where he will be able to find meaningfull minutes, even if it comes at the prospect of going to a much downgraded situation going from Louisville basketball to Milwaukee basketball.
At least we will always be able to say that Danilo Jovanovich outscored DJ Wagner 3-0 in the Louisville vs. Kentucky game in 2023.
