The Louisville Cardinals are looking to get their 2nd road win of the Kenny Payne era, as they travel to take on the now 4th ranked North Carolina Tar Heels. UNC has been making strides this season and are looking like the best team in the ACC so far this season. Louisville on the other hand is looking to regain its focus after a 6 point home loss to North Carolina on Saturday.

UNC is coming off of a 103-67 drubbing of Syracuse, and that score alone should tell you how good this Tar Heel team is. North Carolina isn't just executing good offense but they are defending well too, which is something they have certainly struggled with in the past 2 seasons.

Louisville will have their hands full with RJ Davis and Armando Bacot, but maybe a late tip and an unfocused UNC team could spell magic for the Cardinals.

What Are The Betting Odds For Louisville vs. UNC?

As I currently write this article Louisville is a -21.5 point underdog against UNC, with the over/under being 155.5. Louisville is also +3500 on the moneyline, while UNC is -1500 on the moneyline.

What Injuries Are Louisville Dealing With?

Emmanuel Okorafor is still listed as "day to day" for tonight's game but Tre White should still be good to suit up for tonight. While Dennis Evans and JJ Traynor will be out for the rest of the season, including tonight against UNC

Final Score Prediction For Louisville vs. UNC:

I would fully expect Louisville to lose this game to North Carolina, however, I don't believe the Tar Heels will be able to cover against the Cardinals. While the Tar Heels have looked unstoppable lately, Louisville also has improved a lot over the past 2 games. With the game being a late tip and the odds being over 20, something tells me Louisville will make this closer than the oddsmakers anticiapte.

With all of that said, UNC should be able to beat Louisville in their own home court quite easily. I am looking for a 8-14 North Carolina victory, and anything lower than that would just a nice suprise for this season. Mike James should also look to continue being hot as well.
