Louisville vs. Clemson Final Game Predictions
By Caleb Hall
The Louisville Cardinals will travel to Little-John Coliseum to take on the Clemson Tigers tonight, and both teams are in a big need of a win tonight. Ever since starting 11-1 Clemson has gone 2-5, and with wins over Boston College and Florida State, they will need to start getting more quality wins.
Not that Louisville would be a quality win for Clemson, but you get my point.
Louisville was looking like they were turning the corners towards the beginning of the month with the performances against NC State and Miami, but after the blowout losses to UNC, Wake Forest, Duke, and Virginia, they look more lost than ever right now.
Normally that would mean the team would be dead on arrival when travelling on the road, but this is Kenny Payne's Louisville so they will probably play really good and suprise all of us. Whenever we think the team is about to give up the they surprisingly play very well.
I fully expect Louisville to lose this game, but I do have a feeling that just based on matchups that Louisville may have some shot to keep this one interesting for a little bit.
Expect Brandon Huntley-Hatfield and Mike James to continue playing well against Clemson, but rebounding could again be a big issue again for the Cardinals tonight.
I expect Louisville to cover the -16.5 point spread, but nothing much more than that.
