The Cardinals will travel north Wednesday to Madison Square Garden in Syracuse New York to take on the Syracuse Orange at 7:00 PM. Kenny Payne and Louisville are looking for another win after defeating Florida State 101-92 late Saturday night.

Louisville enters the game with a 7-15 record and 2-9 in conference play. The Cards will be looking to add another win to their record after an electric upset over the Florida State Seminoles last Saturday. Louisville looked better than they have all season. Sophomore guard Skyy Clark did not play with a head injury and is currently listed as questionable for Wednesday. Do the Cards have what it takes to pull off a road win against Syracuse?

Syracuse holds a 14-8 record and are 5-6 in ACC play. After a 2 game road trip resulting in 2 losses the Orange will be looking to get back on track against Louisville. Syracuse's struggling defense ranks in the mid 200s allowing 73 points per game. It was also announced yesterday morning that Syracuse would be dismissing junior forward Benny Williams. This could possibly benefit the Cards with a distracted and unfocused Syracuse team they will be more likely to slip up and fold against Louisville. If the red hot Cardinals play like they did against Florida State I don't think they will have any problem getting the win.

Final Game Prediction:

In all honesty this game is a complete toss up and a hard one to pick. Skyy Clark is still listed as questionable and that hurts the Louisville offense. But in the end if Louisville can keep playing like they did against the Seminoles Saturday night I don't think they will have any trouble against the Orange. Be on the lookout for Brandon Huntley-Hatfield coming off a career high 29 points, and Ty-Laur Johnson who recorded 27 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. I am also looking for Tre White to have a big game, as the sophomore transfer guard has proved he can be a contributor to the offense and at times has been a great rebounder for the Cards.
