Pat Kelsey Has Fully Embraced Louisville Basketball, & He's Already Called Out BBN
By Caleb Hall
Pat Kelsey has just been named the head coach at the University of Louisville men's basketball program, and in the matter of 2 days he has fully embraced the city and the fans.
Kelsey has been a burst of energy for a fan base that has been starving for positivity the past several seasons, especially during the Kenny Payne era. Kelsey has energized the fan base with his powerfull opening press conference and his attitude of "we're going to win now" mentality.
One thing that has joyed Louisville fans the most has been his most recent tweet that he put out referencing the Cardinals most hated rival: the Kentucky Wildcats.
In the past 2 season Kenny Payne almost showed love toward Kentucky, as he worked under John Calipari for many years and was "buddy-buddy" with him the 2 years that he coached against him while at Louisville. The hate in the rivalry seemed to have lost its way, but it seems like it will be reinvigorated with Kelsey at the helm. He even seemed to rub Kentucky fans the wrong way, which for Louisville fans is the right way.
Louisville fans have been ignited by Kelsey's comment regarding the revi-Ville which has even led to its own merch just hours after he posted the tweet.
Kelsey seems to be at home with Louisville in the past 2 days, and if he can please Cardinal fans while angering Kentucky fans then things will begin to look up quick for cardnation.
