Louisville sophomore forward Skyy Clark has officially put his name into the transfer portal, and after Kenny Payne's firing, he is the 7th cardinal to follow this trend. Clark also will keep in contact with Louisville during the coaching search, as he may possibly return depending on who Louisville will hire.

The 6-3 sophomore says he will remain in contact with Louisville regarding a potential return as the head coaching search continues.
Averaged 13.2 PPG this season.

Clark was one of the better players last season for the Cardinals, as he averaged 13.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3 assists, while shooting 41.2% from the floor overall, and 35% from the three-point line. Clark has had a decent season for Louisville, and if given the right coaching I think he could be a good foundational piece next season for the Cardinals.
It all depends on who Louisville will hire as their next head coach, and if Clark wants to play under him. Clark really started blooming towards the last half of the season, and his best game by far was the ACC Tournament game where Clark scored 36 points and made 7 three pointers.
Louisville would welcome back Skyy Clark if he were to decide to come back, but only time will tell based on who Louisville decides to hire as their next basketball coach.
