Texas State Linebacker Transfer Dan Foster to Visit Louisville Tomorrow

Louisville Football head coach Jeff Brohm is moving quick to replace some of the talent he has lost in the past week due to the transfer portal, and that all begins with Texas State transfer Dan Foster coming for a visit to campus tomorrow.

Foster is a 6'3 235-pound linebacker transfer from Texas State that has spent 4 years playing college football for the likes of Marshall and Texas State. He started all 13 games for Texas State last season, and has started 43 games overall in his time in college football.

Foster has also been offered by other schools from:

  • Western Kentucky
  • Georgia Southern
  • New Mexico
  • Jacksonville State
  • New Mexico State
  • Buffalo
  • And Arkansas State

Foster had his best season yet at Texas State last year where he recorded 52 total tackles, 25 solo tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2 fumble recoveries.
