3. Louisville will record at least three sacks vs. Notre Dame

In the first game of the season against Austin Peay, the Cardinals recorded a whopping seven sacks. Since then, they have been able to muster only two sacks. None of those game last week against Georgia Tech. Quite frankly, the lack of sacks is beginning to get concerning.

Ashton Gillotte was a preseason All-American because of what he was able to do getting after the quarterback a year ago. He had 11 sacks and looked like he was primed for even more this year as a senior. Instead, he has recorded just a single sack this season.

Those sack totals will go up after this game against the Fighting Irish. I predict that the Cardinals will be able to bring Leonard down at least three times in this game. He holds onto the ball a while, so this is a good opportunity for Louisville to bring him down behind the line.

Gillotte himself will be able to get one of them. He will likely be double-teamed a lot in this game. Despite that, I think he'll be able to get through it and muscle his way to the quarterback. He's too good to be held down this long as far as his sack totals are concerned.

If Louisville accomplishes all three of these things, they should be able to pull off the big upset and leave South Bend still undefeated.
