3. The Louisville Cardinals will not only beat Georgia Tech, but they will cover the spread

Louisville has done a great job of blowing their opponents out. So far, they've covered both spreads that they've had this season. Again, that was against inferior competition, so that's something you expect. But as the old adage goes: good teams win, great teams cover.

Right now, the Cardinals look like a great team. They are firing on all cylinders and look like juggernauts. They want to be seen as a contender for the College Football Playoff. In order to do that, they need a statement win against a good opponent.

Georgia Tech isn't quite that opponent, but they can still make a statement. According to DraftKings, the Cardinals are 11-point favorites right now. I think Louisville not only wins the game, but they are able to cover the spread. They will win this game by at least two touchdowns.

I don't have a final score worked out yet. That will come on Saturday morning. But I do think that this Louisville team is for real. Before the season started, I thought they had the opportunity to win 9 games this season. Now, I think they have real shot to go 11-1 in the regular season.

This is a good game for the Cardinals to have before their trip to South Bend next weekend. Winning both of these games could signal to everyone else that they are the best team in the ACC. It all starts by getting a victory against the Yellow Jackets.
