The Louisville football team is fresh off a bye week and they are ready to show the college football world that their first two games weren't a fluke. After taking down Austin Peay and Jacksonville State, their level of competition steps up quite a bit this week in Week 4.

Louisville now takes on Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets have already played four games this season, including their Week 0 upset of Florida State. In that game, they showed that they could slow the game down with their defense and score off turnovers to get a win.

Now, the Yellow Jackets are 3-1 after losing by three to Syracuse and blowing out VMI in response. This is the Cardinals' first taste of the ACC this season. While this isn't the toughest game on the schedule, the cupcake games are over and every game from here on in is a challenge.

What Louisville football fans can expect from Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech's starting quarterback Haynes King is averaging 240.5 yards per game, so this isn't the same old ground-and-pound team that used to run the triple-option. These guys can sling it. Georgia Tech averages 179 yards on the ground, so they can gobble up yards in a hurry.

What the biggest thing Louisville needs to do is keep explosive plays from happening. Three Georgia Tech receivers have receptions of 40 yards or more. The Louisville Cardinals have to make the Yellow Jackets drive down the field and earn points.

Louisville also needs to keep running the ball with force. Georgia Tech is 32nd in the country in terms of stopping the run. They allow just under 100 yards per game. The Cardinals have been able to run the ball at will so far this season. It'll be interesting to see how they deal with a good defense for the first time.

This is a game that Louisville should still win. According to DraftKings, they are a 10-point favorite. The over/under is 57.5. That's a good number because a lot of points are going to be scored in this game.
