Tyrone Riley IV
One of the three players Louisville will host for a visit this weekend is 4-star transfer Tyrone Riley IV. The Cardinals will get the San Francisco transfer on campus for an official visit on Sunday, April 12, and will try to make a big splash with their first transfer commitment.
Riley ranks as high as No. 7 among small forwards in the portal and 59 in the Transfer Portal according to On3 Sports. The 4-star transfer is coming off an impressive season, averaging 12.2 points,4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 steals per game and securing a spot on the All-WCC Second-team. He went on to shoot 47.2 percent from the floor and 36.8 percent from 3-point range as he made 42 3’s in his sophomore season.
Riley emerges as a top target for Louisville, but the Cardinals are in a recruiting battle with Oregon, as the Ducks will host the 4-star on a visit as well.
