While many seem to think the Oregon transfer Jackson Shelstad will go to Arizona, with Louisville earning the first visit and pairing it with 5-star transfer Flory Bidunga, we are going to make a bold prediction: the Cardinals will land their elite guard. Kelsey has had his magic with point guards since he took over as head coach at Louisville, landing All-ACC guard Chucky Hepburn, then 5-star Mikel Brown Jr., 5-star Adrian Wooley, and 4-star Ryan Conwell.
So, Kelsey has the track record of recruiting elite guards and landing commitments from them. Louisville will host three players this weekend, including Shelstad, and the Cards will look to earn his commitment before he even leaves the campus. Shelstad will visit Louisville this Friday with Bidunga, and then is also scheduled for Arizona on Tuesday, April 14.
