Louisville basketball had a huge recruiting weekend, landing Flory Bidunga and Jackson Shelstad. The two newest Cards transfer commitments each rank inside the top 20 of the portal rankings, with Bidunga being a consensus 5-star transfer and ranked as high as No. 1 overall, and Shelstad being a 4-star transfer, No. 16 overall and No. 5 among point guards in the portal.
5 win-now players who could commit to Louisville after Flory Bidunga, Jackson Shelstad
Louisville is off to a dominant start, ranking unanimously No. 1 in the portal team rankings, but Louisville is not done yet. The Cards have lost four players to the Transfer Portal, one to the NBA Draft, and a total of nine of their top 10 players from the 2025-26 roster. So, Kelsey’s offseason is far from over, and Louisville will continue to be heavily involved in the Transfer Portal.
With the Cardinals being all-in on the portal, we want to make some predictions on who we think will commit next, following Bidunga and Shelstad. So, here is us predicting Louisville basketball's next two Transfer Portal commitments.
Karter Knox | Small Forward | Arkansas
One transfer Louisville is trending with at the moment is the 4-star transfer, Karter Knox. The Arkansas transfer is a former 5-star recruit and McDonald’s All-American who ranked as high as No. 22 overall in the 2024 recruiting class and No. 8 overall among small forwards. He is a former Cardinals target as Louisville made his final 3, where he originally committed to Kentucky over Louisville and South Florida.
The Cardinals now emerge as one of his top targets once again, as he will take a visit to Louisville on Tuesday. Knox is coming off a sophomore season in which he averaged 8.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in just 22 games, battling injuries all season, including missing the final 12 games after surgery on his left meniscus.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound small forward ranks as high as a 4-star transfer, No. 6 among small forwards, and No. 54 overall in the Transfer Portal.
Paulius Murauskas | Power Forward | Saint Mary's
Our next prediction is the top ten transfers and elite power forward Paulius Murauskas. Louisville is making a strong push for the Saint Mary’s transfer, as Cards fans continue to hear Kelsey, and the Cardinals are a team to keep an eye on with Murauskas.
The 4-star transfer is coming off a dominant season where he averaged 18.4 points and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 48.2 percent from the field. The 6-foot-8, 235-pound forward is a dream fit next to Bidunga, bringing size and physicality and being an elite scorer at the power forward position. This past season with the Gaels, he splashed 33 3-pointers, made the All-West Coast Conference First Team, and scored 20 or more points in 15 games and 30 or more in two games.
Murauskas ranks as high as No. 8 overall in the Transfer Portal and No. 2 among power forwards.
