Khani Rooths - Transfer
The biggest name we think who could enter the Transfer Portal this offseason is Khani Rooths. The former 4-star recruit out of high school just hasn’t had the college basketball career he probably was dreaming of for his first two years.
Rooths hasn’t gotten consistent time in his freshman and sophomore seasons, and while he will have a chance to start his junior year, it wouldn’t come as the biggest surprise if he entered the Transfer Portal. Rooths has emerged as one of the fans' favorite players, bringing a spark and a boost to the floor, but after averaging just 4.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game in his first two years, he is one fan is circling around, thinking he might not come back.
Rooths has a high ceiling, committing to Louisville as a 4-star recruit ranked as high as No. 34 overall in the 2024 recruiting class. The Cardinals fans want to bring back the 6-foot-10, 215-pound forward, but entering the offseason, he is the biggest Cardinal on transfer watch.
