Louisville basketball is on pace to have one of the best offseasons as the Cardinals have landed two top 10 players from the transfer portal. Adrian Wooley and Ryan Conwell committed to the Cardinals earlier this week, as these two guards will join Mikel Brown Jr. in the Cardinals' backcourt.

The Cardinals have only lost one player to the portal, as Koren Johnson entered his name last week. Louisville will look to keep as many players as possible, but after landing these two superstars, it will be hard to return their entire roster from last year.

We will breakdown and predict all six Cardinals who have the the option of either returning or transferring.

F Khani Rooths - Stay

Khani Rooths will be a valuable piece off the bench for Pat Kelsey. The true freshman showed flashes throughout this season of why he was a unanimous 4-star recruit out of high school. The Cardinals forward averaged 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting nearly 40 percent from the field last season.

Kelsey praised Rooths throughout the year and loved the energy the true freshman would bring to the Cardinals. It is hard to think Rooths would enter the portal as the Cardinals lost two key bench pieces from last season in Noah Waterman and Aboubacar Traore. So, it is assumed that Rooths will step up, fill that hole, and be Louisville's No. 1 forward option off the bench.

Rooths is expected to take that big jump heading into next season and be a valuable forward off the bench. He will likely be the Cardinals' sixth or seventh man next season and a huge spark plug for Kelsey.
