Mouhamed Camara - Stay

The Cardinals' loss of Khani Rooths was a dagger, as he was certainly a fan favorite amongst Louisville fans. However, Mouhamed Camara, someone who can play a major role on the Cardinals next season.

The 4-star commitment from last offseason redshirted his freshman season, and with Rooths entering the portal, his role will likely increase.  Camara is an athletic two-way player who impacts both ends of the floor. Before he committed to Louisville, he played at the NBA Academy Africa, where he averaged 10.7 points while shooting 60.0 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from 3-point range. He also filled the stat sheet, averaging 7.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.8 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game.

Camara has a high ceiling, as the 4-star recruit impressed many Cardinals early on last offseason after he arrived. Kobe Rodgers stated that Camara showed flashes of being a “special player,” and with Louisville already losing some key pieces, Kelsey should try to avoid losing his 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward.
