Shooting Guard: Adrian Wooley

With Louisville landing these two big-time recruits, the Cardinals' fans feel better about their odds of bringing back Adrian Wooley. The former 5-star transfer committed to the Cardinals last offseason, and with the Cardinals losing Ryan Conwell and Isaac McKneely because of eligibility, Wooley has the opportunity to be Kelsey’s starting shooting guard.

It is no lock that Wooley returns, as he posted on his social media a couple of weeks ago, “soon…” but with the Cardinals landing these two elite transfers, Wooley might decide to stay at Louisville. Wooley came off the bench for the majority of the year for Kelsey in his first season, but when he was a starter, the former 5-star showed his potential and why he was a 5-star transfer.

The combo guard is crafty and can not only create a shot for himself, but also for his teammates. Wooley and Shelstad would form an elite backcourt, one of the best in the ACC.
