3. Deuce Adams - QB
Deuce Adams has lost a massive amount of ground this off-season in the transfer portal. Adams will be a sophomore next season, and while he is still young in his collegiate football career, he was expected to be the QB2 behind Miller Moss, but after the Spring Game, it appears he will now be the QB3 behind Brady Allen.
Allen earned the QB2 reps at the Spring game and performed spectacularly at L&N Stadium Friday night. Allen completed 10-of-14 passes for 124 yards, whereas Adams went just 8-of-15 for 55 passing yards. Adams is the most mobile quarterback in the Cardinals QB room, but it wouldn't be surprising after his reps from the Spring Game, and it appears he will be the QB3 in this quarterback room if the former 3-star recruit out of Texas hits the transfer portal.
Adams threw for over 3,000 yards and 34 touchdowns on a 66.9 percent completion percentage. The returning Cardinal had tremendous upside out of high school, but unfortunately, he has not fully developed the way Brohm and Company were hoping. He is still super young and has plenty of balls left, but at this point of his career, it would be fitting to try and find a new home where he could be one of the top options.
