Louisville football's 2025 offense is expected to be one of the most explosive offenses in the ACC, and recently, it has started to get national attention, too. The Cardinals have key players returning, while they also added much-needed depth in the tight end and wide receiver positions, making it one of the most complete groups in the nation.

Recently, Duke Watson, Isaac Brown, and Chris Bell all earned national spotlights as the Cardinals' two running backs earned a spot on the Doak Walker Award Watch List, and Bell earned a spot on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List. These three players are expected to be some of the best offensive players in the nation, as they have the potential for another breakout season and will play crucial roles to help Louisville return to Charlotte in 2025.

Well, on Friday, Louisville learned two more players earned national spotlights as Miller Moss and Pete Nygra also made Watch Lists entering the 2025 season.

The 4-star transfer quarterback from USC officially made the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award watch list. This prestigious award goes to the best college quarterback in college football at the end of the season.

Moss is one of 36 players to earn a spot on this list and is one of seven quarterbacks represented from the ACC. The  6-foot-2, 205-pound quarterback will have much higher expectations entering next season than last, as many believe Brohm can make Moss one of the top quarterbacks in the league.

Moss has shown flashes of brilliance in his college career, and now playing under Brohm, it is clear he will have a chance to be the quarterback whisperer's next star transfer QB.

Last season for USC, he threw for 2,555 yards and 18 touchdowns, including four 300-yard passing games. Louisville believes they will see that version of Moss much more next season, and with this rushing attack, he will have a legitimate chance for a massive breakout season.

As for Nygra, he was named to the Rimington Trophy Watchlist. He is one of 40 centers to be listed on this watchlist, and he is much deserving of the elite Cardinals center, as he plays a crucial role in the Cardinals' rushing attack.

The star center is coming off an impressive season last year and will look to be a leader on the offensive line this upcoming season. Nygra was one of two offensive linemen to start in every game last season and helped lead Louisville to having one of the best offenses in the country.

The Cardinals were the only team to score 24 points or more in every game last season, and they averaged 36.5 points per game, which was No. 9 in the country. They also averaged 449.2 total yards per game, which ranked No. 13 in the nation.
