The Louisville Cardinals football season is just 14 Saturdays away. Jeff Brohm and his Cardinals are set to face Eastern Kentucky on Aug. 30 from L&N Stadium. This Cardinals squad had a strong offseason, starting with their Spring Game, where fans and experts saw firsthand how explosive this offense can be.
Louisville showcased its ability to throw as Miller Moss led his team to a victory with 208 passing yards, and Caullin Lacy showed he is ready to take that next step as he had 99 receiving yards and a touchdown. The Cardinals' offense will be led by their preseason All-American running back, Isaac Brown, as the star RB is expected to take a massive step in his sophomore season.
The Cardinals are expected to be at the top of the ACC next season and compete for their first-ever ACC Title. FanDuel recently put out their odds for conference winners, and the Cardinals are precisely where they should be for the ACC.

Louisville is coming off a 9-4 season, and while they didn't make the ACC Title game last year, they took massive steps in the right direction. The Cards' secured their first win over the Clemson Tigers in program history, making many believe this upcoming season could be the year the Cardinals get it done.
FanDuel has Louisville with the third-best odds to win the ACC at +650. The only other teams with better odds are the Clemson Tigers (+145) and the Miami Hurricanes (+410). The Cardinals will look to return to Charlotte for the ACC Championship game in 2025, but this time they hope to see red and black confetti rather than orange and green or orange and purple.
Louisville's season-defining game was listed as their showdown with Miami on Oct. 17 at the Hard Rock Stadium, but the reality is they have a three-game gauntlet that they must win at least two of those games if they want to make a trip to Charlotte.
