Louisville’s last home and ACC game of the 2026 season comes against the Pittsburgh Panthers. Last year, the Cardinals and Panthers had a thrilling game in Pittsburgh, Pa., as the Panthers went up 17-0 early, but the Cardinals came back to earn a big Week 5 win.

The Panthers will return starting quarterback Mason Heintschel and running back Ja’Kyrian Turner and will look to carry the momentum from their 6-2 ACC record last season. However, the Cardinals have had the Panthers numbers the last couple of years, and with Louisville fighting not only for a spot in the ACC Championship game, but for the College Football Playoffs, this appears to be a game where Tre Richardson breaks out, similar to last year's game when Chris Bell hauled in 135 yards on 10 catches.

Louisville wins a close one-score game over Pat Narduzzi's Pitt Panthers and improves to 9-2 on the season and finishes 8-1 in its ACC schedule.
