The ACC had an eventful week with some critical upsets and the top tier of the conference taking care of business. Duke, Louisville, and Virginia continued to impress while Clemson struggled to be competitive with Duke and Virginia Tech, and North Carolina lost to Miami and lost Caleb Wilson for the next few weeks. Some of the mid to bottom-tier teams of the ACC also seemed to push above their weight this week, while teams like Boston College and Georgia Tech continue to lose.
Here is where the ACC stands after an interesting week of hoops:
No. 18: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Georgia Tech has been in the bottom third of these rankings for quite a while now, but after another round of back-to-back blowout losses to Virginia and Notre Dame, they officially fall to the bottom.
The Yellow Jackets are losers of 7 in a row, and besides one lone win against NC State in January, they have not had any sizeable ACC win or win at all for that matter. The Yellow Jackets are looking to crawl towards the end of the 2026 season.
