No. 17: Boston College Eagles

Boston College took two losses on a West Coast road trip against Stanford and Cal this past week, and unlike Georgia Tech, they were relatively close single-digit losses. Boston College got blown out by Cal, but played Stanford very close down the stretch. The Eagles have still lost six in a row now, though, and things are not looking to get much better again this year.

No. 16: Pittsburgh Panthers

The Pitt Panthers have had another losing season under head coach Jeff Capel, and while this season has been full of blowout losses, there was a little glimmer of positivity this week against Duke. Pitt kept the game relatively close until the 10-minute mark in the second half, in a game where Pitt was a big home underdog. That is really the only thing separating them from Boston College and Georgia Tech right now, while Pitt fights to claw its way into the ACC tournament.
