The ACC had a handful of excellent games this past week, and Louisville impressed, winning both games against Notre Dame and Wake Forest. The top half teams in the ACC won nearly all the games they were favored in so far this week, except for the huge upset North Carolina had over Duke on Saturday.
Louisville is on a four-game win streak over the past week and a half and had a huge 41-point win against NC State on Monday, in what was a key win for the Cardinals in the ACC standings. Here is where Louisville and the rest of the ACC stand in this week's power rankings.
No. 18: Pittsburgh Panthers
Pittsburgh has been one of the worst teams in the ACC this year, and that trend continued this week as the Panthers got blown out by Virginia and SMU. Pittsburgh is currently 9-15, with only 2 ACC wins and having lost 9 of its last 11 games.
Pittsburgh is having one of its worst seasons so far under head coach Jeff Capel, and there seems to be no turning this team around in 2026.
