With Pat Kelsey and the Louisville basketball team losing multiple key pieces this offseason, the Cardinals will look to reshape their roster via the Transfer Portal. Kelsey has a lot of work to do this offseason, and Louisville will have to be all-in on the portal for the third straight season, as the Cards need to hit it hard across multiple positions.
Last season, Louisville reportedly had $8-10 million in NIL money to work with to build its roster, which led to Kelsey securing two 4-star commitments and one 5-star commitment from the Transfer Portal. Louisville had the No. 3-ranked class in the portal last offseason, and if the Cardinals want to have Final Four dreams and expectations again, Kelsey will have a lot of work to do this offseason.
The Transfer Portal will officially open on April 7 and will remain open for 14 days until April 21. It will be an interesting two weeks for Cardinals fans, as they have already seen a couple of Cardinals enter the portal, and some elite players from other programs have as well.
So, with the next month crucial for Kelsey and the 2026-27 Louisville Cardinals, we will update this daily to inform Louisville fans who are transferring in and out. Check out the tracker below.
