10 Louisville football players who definitely will not be back next season

Louisville’s vast group of talented seniors led the charge for the Cardinals to a winning season and bowl appearance, which included one of the best wins in program history.

8. Miller Moss, QB

Most Louisville fans will characterize the Miller Moss experiment as a failure, both for Moss with his play this season and for the coaching staff in missing their choice to fill the key position. Moss, funny enough, played up to the competition and was a solid contributor for the first half of the season. His performances were far from perfect, but enough to keep the Cardinals on their winning ways and place Louisville in a spot where 

Even with the season and his play falling off a cliff in the second half of the season, Moss did gain some goodwill back with the Louisville fanbase. Moss’s performance in the 41-0 throttling of the Kentucky Wildcats, while injured no less, will go down as one of the best moments of this season and one of the biggest surprises after the previous weeks’ performances. That alone deserves a tip of the cap and some returned respect from the Cardinal fanbase while providing a great ending to an otherwise tumultuous season.
