5. Reach - Dillon Mitchell
The Louisville Cardinals must target Dillon Mitchell, a former consensus 5-star recruit. The 6-foot-8 junior is transferring out of Cincinnati after averaging 9.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists while shooting 61.4 percent from the floor.
The former 5-star recruit hasn't had the best collegiate career after being ranked as high as the No. 4 best player in his class, but under Pat Kelsey, Mitchell might find his perfect fit. The Cincinnati transfer would be a match made in heaven next to these elite Cardinals guards as Mitchell led the Texas Longhorns in field goal percentage his freshman season as he shot the ball at an impressive 63.6 percent split.
Mitchell has started every game of his collegiate career except one, and while he hasn't had the best production so far, he is a great target for the Cardinals to target. He would bring great height to Louisville's forward position, and he has great awareness on the court, as he secured 74 offensive rebounds last season for the Bearcats.
According to On3 Sports, he is the second-best power forward available. He is ranked the No. 11 power forward to enter the portal and the No. 45 best player overall.
Kelsey has proven he can develop players, and with the ceiling as high as Mitchell's, Kelsey and his staff must try to grab this former 5-star recruit.
