6 - Dream - Deuce Knight
Not many highlights or stats are present for the former 5-star prospect, but his potential could turn many heads in the transfer portal this offseason. Soon-to-be former Auburn quarterback Deuce Knight was not handed many opportunities during his time with the Tigers this season. However, in his action during a blowout win against Mercer, Knight showed the college football world the potential he possesses.
Knight led Auburn to a 62-17 thrashing, completing 15 of 20 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns. Even with those stats being very respectable, the real story was what Knight was able to do with his legs. Knight ran all over the Mercer defense, finishing with 9 carries for 162 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. Although Knight is not the typical pro-style quarterback that Louisville fans are used to seeing with Jeff Brohm, having the dual-threat ability could open up Brohm’s playbook to provide new opportunities with the offense.
