2 - Reach - Dylan Raiola
Another highly notable, and potentially questionable, quarterback who intends to put their name into the transfer portal is the former 5-star prospect, soon-to-be former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola. Louisville had significant connections to Raiola early in the process when it was announced that Raiola’s intentions to enter the portal. Raiola is a bit of a wild card when it comes to his potential, when compared to his play on the field.
Raiola put up modest numbers this season, posting 2,000 passing yards and 18 touchdowns to only 6 interceptions. Raiola’s season was cut short by injury, so many were unable to see what the end of the season might have been with Raiola at the helm. Although Raiola and Nebraska did not play in a fashion that was a complete disappointment, Raiola himself has not necessarily reached his full potential as the top quarterback prospect in this class. If Raiola does end up coming to Louisville, it will be Jeff Brohm who gets him to reach his full potential.
