Perhaps the quarterback with some of the most buzz surrounding ties between his camp and the Louisville coaching staff is the soon-to-be former TCU Horned Frogs quarterback Josh Hoover. The junior, soon-to-be senior quarterback had a fantastic season at TCU, putting up major numbers for the Horned Frogs. Hoover finished the season with 3,472 passing yards and 29 touchdowns for a squad that finished the season 9-4 in the Big 12 conference.
Hoover has had early connections with another Power 4 school that will be one of Louisville’s biggest adversaries in the transfer portal. Indiana has emerged as another major player vying for Hoover's services. Hoover would fit well within the Brohm system, being the type of quarterback that Brohm typically likes to have running the offense. Keep an eye on this portal recruitment as we inch closer to the true opening of the portal. Hopefully, Louisville can maneuver its way into being in the perfect position to have Hoover calling the shots on the field next season.
