Reach: Kwame Evans Jr.
Louisville basketball is in dire need of a physical forward who can not only impact on the offensive side but also on the defensive side. When Louisville basketball fans look at potential additions at the power forward position, the former 5-star Kwame Evans Jr. should stand out.
Evans is an offensive threat that Louisville needs in its frontcourt, but the 6-foot-10, 220-pound junior is also a defensive menace. Last season, the former 5-star averaged 13.3 points while shooting 45.4 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from beyond the arc. On the defensive side, he earned 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals, while also adding 7.4 rebounds per game.
Evans is ranked as high as No. 22 in the portal and No. 4 among power forwards. The Cards fans have made it clear they want a two-way player for their frontcourt, and someone who isn’t out of the question is the 4-star Oregon transfer.
