Camara, unfortunately, never suited up in a Louisville uniform in a regular-season game, as he redshirted his freshman season. The former 4-star committed to Louisville after playing in multiple events for the NBA Academy Africa, where he was an elite two-way player. The 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward is an “elite defender,” according to Pat Kelsey, as he averaged 10.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.8 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game, while shooting 60.0% from the floor and 37.5% from 3-point range.
The Cardinals have now lost three forwards this offseason, as Sananda Fru and Khani Rooths are reportedly entering the transfer portal as well. So, with Louisville fans hoping Camara would be a piece next season, here are three forwards Pat Kelsey and Louisville must target after Mouhamed Camara enters the portal.
